Our Client

Located in Adelaide's Northern Suburbs our client have shown themselves to be a leader in the general engineering sector by manufacturing and supplying special purpose equipment and components to the Mining, Defense, Power and Water industries.

Due to growth within the company and winning some large specialized Projects which require a NACE2 Qualified Inspector to join the QC team. Reporting to the Workshop Manager and working within a busy workshop you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects and tasks and be responsible for the day to day inspection and checking of applied paint to the clients specifications of various engineering projects.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will be to :

  • Checking the micron thickness of applied painted surfaces.
  • Check all paint specifications as per client requirements.
  • Checking all CoCs to the relevant standards as provided by the clients.
  • Provide detailed QC reports that will accompany the delivery of each project to the client.

Skills and experience

Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate some or all of the following key attributes:

  • Must have a NACE2 Qualification as a Painting Inspector.
  • Have an Engineering Trade Background with a particular biased in Painting.
  • Experience in using an MRP system or similar to provide the inspection reports for each project.
  • Have an excellent understanding of complex Engineering Drawings
  • Able to work on multiple Projects at the same time
  • High attention to detail
  • Extremely organized
  • Strong MS Office Skills
