We are looking for a software developer/engineer to work on a project for one of our clients based in Adelaide.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and management of code base & branches for configuration control
• Development and modification of Multi-disciplinary optimisation overall architecture to achieve required functional capabilities
• Streamlined process for implementation of team generated engineering modules/models into flexible OOP code architecture software implementations where required (i.e. C++, Python)
• Development of flexible baseline software architecture – blending object oriented programming and verbose programming as needed.
• Working with the technical leads to develop and document a functional software architecture description for a complete MDO tool (based in Python or C++) to enable discretised programming activities.

Skills

• Optimisation algorithms & implementation
• Software architecture design best practices
• Python and C++ programming
• MATLAB programming – specifically object oriented MATLAB
• Systems engineering (desirable)
