What will you do

As our team continues to grow and win more work, you will become involved in the management of local rail design projects as well as supporting projects in other states. Your role will involve
Design Management, checking and verification of design output from offshore design centres
Providing your technical expertise and design management skills to complex reports
Taking responsibility for the delivery of key projects including providing leadership and direction
Targeting and securing new work, developing relationships with key clients both new and existing
Mentoring and coaching junior team members and those on multidisciplinary projects

Qualifications

What do you need
First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life and want to be part of city-shaping projects that change the way we move around our capital. You are a tertiary qualified, chartered engineer with extensive experience in the rail industry and come to us with
Demonstrated success supervising aspects of highly complex multi-disciplinary projects
Familiarity with design joint venture environments, application of standards, managing of resources and technical knowledge
Previous experience within engineering design consultancy, or design interface with a contractor
A deep understanding of civil infrastructure projects such as grade separations, duplications, CSR, road safety, sub structures, drainage, and access roads
MTM competencies will be highly regarded, as will experience in station upgrades/station design.
