The entry level Graduate Engineering Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the growth of ENGIE's national Solar Engineering & Installation team. With opportunities for growth in the engineering and project space, this role will give the successful candidate a well-rounded introduction to the delivery of solar projects from a commercial, technical, financial and PMO perspective.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative support to the Project Group Manager, Project Managers and Engineers
  • Supervise and maintain financial set up of projects
  • Prepare all documentation associated with projects, including processing orders, supplier invoices and invoices to clients in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain and update various business analytics tools
  • Assist in the planning and deployment of labour and materials for projects - including scheduling technicians on to client jobs for efficient use of labour
  • Check technician timesheet accuracy and ensure the group's timesheets are submitted in a timely manner
  • Monitor technician licenses / vendor certifications to ensure they are current / valid for compliance purposes
  • Collaborate with project coordinators, project managers and engineers with project tasks
  • Maintain records in accordance with company systems and procedures
  • Maintain the company's commitment to quality and health and safety as documented in the Integrated Management System and associated documentation and as directed by management
  • Manage grid connection application process with network authorities
  • Manage the registration and creation of solar certificates (STC's and LGC's)
  • Create owner's manual documentation
  • Design and maintain solar operations and maintenance process
  • Develop proposal and marketing documentation
  • Other duties as directed by line manager

The successful candidate will have:

  • Technical education (Degree in Electrical, Renewables or Energy Engineering preferred)
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage and prioritise a wide range of tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Confident in your IT skills, especially in Word, Excel and Power Point
