JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently recruiting a skilled carpenter for secure, long-term work on these projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to study drawings and specifications.
- Determine the materials required, dimensions and installation procedures.
- Cutting materials and assembling
- Erecting framework and verifying trueness of structures
- Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install.
- Construct, erect, install, renovate, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and other materials.
- Cutting wood joints
- Installation of joinery
Minimum Requirements
- At least 3 years previous experience as a carpenter
- NSW Full Drivers Licence
- Construction White Card
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Has own tools.
Recommended Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in Carpentry with 3 or more years’ experience
- Knowledge and experience in but not limited to Carpentry, Tiling, Plastering, Maintenance, renovation
- Ability to work in a challenging work environment.
- Ability to undergo a police check.
