Based in Cranbourne | Permanent Full Time Balustrades, Stairs and Architectural | Workshop-based Fabrication

Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Estimator & Director, your new role will see you working as an Estimator with the role of pricing projects from start to finish and managing the expectations of clients on delivery times. Projects will involve the fabrication of mild steel, stainless and structural steel and glass.
Coming prepared with prior experience in this position, you will liaise with external clients and stakeholders to understand a variety of projects through reading/interpreting technical drawings; calculating how much material is needed, formatting the job with your fellow Estimator and the Director and then completing the job to clients' satisfaction.
You will also be given work / life balance as there will be little to minimal overtime. This role will see you managing the early-stage processes of fabricating balustrades, stairs and other architectural type of fabrication.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will obtain a degree or relevant trade within the industry and must have a proven record of experience with balustrades, stairs, and similar architectural related type fabrication. Ideally you will have:
- Experience as an Estimator in the building materials industry
- Strong communication skills and relationship building
- General understanding of industry rates for external trades
- Must be organised and strong planning skills
- Must be able to provide 2 valid references
