The Position:

We are seeking a Mining Engineer with experience in underground hard rock operations. In this role you will be working within a supportive technical services team and your duties will include:

Delivery of strategic mine plans to optimise LOM
Ensure all planning & design activities are aligned with the short & long term business targets
Contributing to continuous improvement projects
Promotion of mine health, safety and environmental policies
 

About You:

The ideal candidate will have the following:

A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent
Previous experience in a mine planning position in an underground environment
Proficiency with mining software such as Vulcan will be looked at favourably
Excellent communicator and the ability to provide technical leadership
 

The Offer:

Full-time permanent position with an owner operator
Annual salary package of $140,000 - $150,000 plus super & bonus
8:6 lifestyle roster
FIFO from Perth or residential
On-going staff training and development opportunities
