This opportunity lies within its Water Division, Mechanical Engineering for Water Infrastructure and Wastewater projects, Treatment Plant upgrades and Pump Station upgrades.
About the role:
An opportunity to join the client's Mechanical Water Engineering Division. You will work across a variety of waste water, pump stations, pipelines and treatment plant projects. This is a senior position, we require someone capable of running and delivering design projects, you will lead a small team and ideally mentor and manage juniors.

 Essential skills that you will require for this role are:

• Ideally a minimum of 15 years of experience working within Mechanical Design Engineering
• Significant experience gained working in the Water industry demonstrating experience with Pump Stations, Pipelines and Treatment plants
• Experience gained designing, running and managing projects
• Experience gained specifying equipment and working with vendors
• Producing concepts and calculations and turning them into working projects
• Undertaking regular coordination and interface with key stakeholders
• Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Understanding of 3D modelling, don't need to be hands on but need to know the mechanics of modelling in 3D
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, need to be able to interface with a variety of different cultures and backgrounds 
• Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards
