About the role

As our Senior Quality Engineering Manager you will provide leadership, strategic planning, and direction of quality engineering methodologies, test automation, performance engineering, service virtualisation and quality analytics, in line with strategic objectives to deliver customer value. Leading the Enterprise Integration test team you’ll be shaping our approach to integrated testing for large scale change initiatives, influencing key stakeholders and driving innovation in the way we tackle challenges by delivering high quality solutions efficiently and effectively. You’ll have direct reports in this role.

  • 12 month fixed term contract (you’ll get a salary and access to employee benefits)

Responsibilities include…

  • Managing end-to-end testing focusing on delivery as well as operational excellence.
  • Managing, growing, and maintaining Quality including process, frameworks, and tools.
  • Defining the testing approach on large scale initiatives and encourage cross team collaboration to deliver the right outcome.
  • Actively contributing to innovation, process improvement, and QE best practice.
  • Successfully execute Agile based QE solutions; working with platform teams, partners, and senior stakeholders to deliver high quality products and features to customers.
  • Influencing and making steps towards fully automated Quality Engineering frameworks.
  • Setting the strategic direction of the team and actively develop and maintain a learning culture across delivery.

About you

  • As an experienced people leader, you’ll foster a culture of innovation and drive the adoption of automation in an Agile delivery model.
  • You have experience mentoring and supporting people reporting into you, as well as setting goals and KPIs for both onshore and offshore members.
  • Experience in strategic development and implementation of Quality Engineering solutions (Automation Frameworks, Performance Validation etc).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, TDD and BDD.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an agile environment and advocating new ways of working.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills to simultaneously direct, inspire, and lead multiple Quality teams in a dynamically changing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with various QE and automation tools.
  • Proven background in automation testing and software development.
