About the role

As our Quality Engineering Manager you will provide overall leadership, strategic planning, and direction of Quality Engineering methodologies (Test Automation, Performance Engineering, Service Virtualisation and Quality Analytics) in line with strategic objectives to deliver value to our customers. You’ll be managing a dispersed team of Quality Engineers to deliver integration testing in our agile delivery model. Providing mentoring and support, as well as setting goals and KPIs. You will also identify required resource needs specific to each engagement and influence key stakeholders to agree on the solutions required.

  • 12 month fixed term contract (you’ll get a salary and access to employee benefits)

Responsibilities include…

  • Manage, grow, and maintain Quality including process, frameworks, and tools.
  • Define the testing approach on large scale initiatives and ensure cross team collaboration to deliver the right outcome.
  • Actively contribute to innovation, process improvement and QE best practice.
  • Successfully execute Agile based QE solutions; working with platform teams, partners, and senior stakeholders to deliver high quality products and features to customers.
  • Drive towards fully automated Quality Engineering frameworks.
  • Actively develop and maintain a learning culture across delivery.

About you

  • Proven experience in strategic development and implementation of Quality Engineering solutions (Automation Frameworks, Performance Validation etc.).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and TDD/BDD.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivery management and leadership of direct reports.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills to simultaneously direct, inspire, and lead multiple Quality teams in a dynamically changing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with various QE and automation tools.
  • Proven background in automation testing and software development highly regarded.
