We are a young company specialising in the refurbishment and soon to be operating ex-British Military jet aircraft. Our reputation is built on honesty, reliability, quality and safety. We provide aviation maintenance needs with professionalism, attention to detail and a genuine passion for aviation. We are looking for a Vehicle Painter that has had experience on repainting aircraft. To apply for this position, you need to have a qualification and over 3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Painter and have experience on Hawker Hunter and BAC 167 Strikemaster aircraft. We are offering $40K depending on experience.

You will be required to;

• remove rough spots on aircraft panels

• sand surfaces by hand and with power sanders

• mask areas not to be painted with tape and paper

• colour match and mix paints to match paint shades, and selecting pre-mixed paint

• apply primer and finishing coats using spray-guns, and sanding surfaces between coats

• touch up paintwork and applying polish to aircraft

• remove masking papers, wax and polish finished paintwork

• paint signs and artwork on aircraft

• treat aircraft with corrosion proofing chemicals
