Established Bricklaying Company in Melbourne seeking a highly experience working site manager for full time employment.

Must have at least 5 Years experience in a similar role and at least 10 years experience working as a Brick and Block layer.

We build top end apartments and homes & pride ourselves on working to a particularly high standard. We are a professional gang, but we also know how to have fun and look after our team!

Most of our work is around Melbourne's inner east ie. Toorak, South Yarra, Brighton, Richmond etc.

Basic job description and expected qualities:

• You will be responsible for day to day running of work sites as allocated to you by your employer

• You will be responsible for productivity and motivation of other workers on those allocated work sites

• You will be expected to report back to your employer regarding any concerns about the job you have been allocated including employee performance, job schedule, safety issues etc

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent communication and people management skills

• Experience in managing larger sites with multiple workers

• Experienced reading plans, running concrete pours, and all aspects of brick and block laying

• Positive can do attitude and strong work ethic

• be able to work unsupervised and treat the business as though it were their own.
