Established in 2001 Intermain, is one of Australia’s leading refurbishment, fitout and building services companies. Their journey has been paved by a diverse, dedicated, and passionate team of construction professionals united by hard work, consistent delivery, collaboration, and a culture of integrity.
Founded in NSW, and offices located across Australia, Intermain has teams on the ground in QLD, VIC, ACT, and SA, who collaborate with prominent industry consultants to deliver commercial, industrial, government, healthcare, and education projects nationally as well as Australian-made custom joinery. 
The Role:

Due to growth across their portfolio, an opportunity has become available for a Site Manager to join the team. The Site Manager will have a deep understanding of the market; sub-contractors and safety and be responsible for all site related functions and reporting to the Project Manager. This role will be specifically working on Fitout and refurbishment projects ranging between the values of $2M up to $30M.

  • You will need to conduct and present yourself and your workplace in a professional manner at all times.
  • Adhere to the company’s values (Can do /Transparency / Client Satisfaction /Everything Considered / Aligned / Quality). 
  • Advanced understanding and experience in interpreting specifications and drawings for accuracy and buildability
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience
  • Ensure that elimination/control strategies are implemented and monitored.
  • Adhere to company / team and individual KPI’s.
  • Mentoring junior staff to achieve required outcomes
  • Ensure the project quality management plan and procedures are relevant and effectively implemented.
  • Follow quality procedures as required.
  • Ensure effective implementation the project environment management plan and procedures on the project.
  • Ideally have a building related degree/diploma or trade background.
  • Good understanding of the principles of most trades and services.
  • Strong understanding of: MS Office applications: Word, Excel, & MS Project. Procore – Project Delivery System
  • Advanced knowledge of the Standard Method of Measurement
