Our leading IT client is looking for a Windows Desktop Engineer with Baseline Clearance based at Monegeetta, Victoria and require travelling between 3 sites including Victoria Barracks (St. Kilda Road) and Laverton.

Duration - 12 months

Essential Skills

• Communication & Stakeholder management
• Basic Windows system administration
• Networking fundamentals (basic CCNA level knowledge, basic layer 2 switching and CLI, some DHCP and DNS)
• Familiarity with VMware (to be able to support upgrading of customer's VMware infrastructure)
• Storage operations (customer has an existing NetApp engagement for storage and backup)

Highly Regarded:

• Documentation writing
• SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)
• SCOM (System Center Operations Manager)
• CLI: Powershell, Linux, etc.
• Desktop and Server hardware

Nice to Have but not critical:

• Knowledge of Cyber Security best practices (ASD Top 8, Top 35)
• Familiarity with Systems Engineering

o Mechanical (CAD, FEA, 3D Printing etc.)

o Electrical (MATLAB, other simulation software)
