PERSOLKELLY has partnered with 3M, a multinational conglomerate corporation operating in the fields of industry, health care, and consumer goods is seeking an Application Engineer for safety business which comprises a comprehensive range of products such as body harnesses, lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, horizontal and vertical lifeline systems, confined space solutions and rescue kits.

 As part of your new role, you will be:

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers, end-users, channel partners, and installers on the selection of suitable solutions for fall protection.
• Develop new applications for the existing product range and identify opportunities to replicate best practices in the local market;
• Consistently apply innovative and advanced technical skills to support the marketing team in new product introduction programs as well as product modification and process engineering projects.
• Support the global fall protection team in field trials, product testing, product certification, and training.
• Understand relevant standards, guidelines, and regulations. Drive educational programs, develop awareness, and promote compliance to standards and regulations

We would love to talk to you if you have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science/Technology or equivalent
• Experienced in a safety advisory role in utility, mining, industrial, construction, engineering, resources, or similar industry group.
• Demonstrated track record of customer technical problem investigation and solving
• Enter and work in confined spaces certificate issued by a Registered Training Organization (RTO) highly regarded.
• Industrial Safety (Cert IV) or related discipline highly regarded
