JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Sydney Region is currently seeking an experienced Systems Engineering Manager to provide Systems Engineering functions on current and future GHD engineering projects. The role will support the Systems Assurance Leader and NSW Rail Group Manager in developing the GHD Systems Engineering capability.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Developing the GHD Systems Engineering Capability
  • Managing Systems Engineering activities on complex multidisciplinary engineering projects
  • Providing advice and guidance for GHD project teams on how to implement a systems engineering approach
  • Promoting the adoption of Systems Engineering tools and techniques
  • Supporting GHD Project and Design Managers in design configuration control.
  • Developing the Rail Group engineering knowledge and application of Systems Engineering principles.
What You Will Bring To The Team
  • A degree in a relevant discipline
  • Extensive knowledge of the System Engineering Lifecycle
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the application of INCOSE SEBoK Principles.
  • Knowledge and experience in application of MBSE.
  • Understanding in application of Systems engineering tools such as DOORS(c) 9.6
and DOORS(c) Next Generation
  • Knowledge in the development of Systems Architectures
  • Detailed understanding of requirements management processes
  • Demonstrable understanding of the Asset V-Lifecycle
  • Awareness of System Safety, RAM and Human Factors.
  • Knowledge of appropriate national and international standards such as ISO/IEC 15288
