We are partnered with a Blue Chip organisation which is undertaking a significant and exciting Program of work. There are multiple roles available across a variety of locations.

The work is for a secure government department and is due to commence in March for approximately 5 months initially. There is a potential for extension, but that will be determined down the track.
 
About the role
You will work with our NSW based customer team as a Senior Security Gateway Engineer. These large government contracts are due to commence in March and will go for 5 months. You will gain exposure to this complex and well-known customer environment, being a part of the team that will deliver significant work over the next 5 months.
You will:

• Prepare designs including documentation and diagrams.
• Plan and execute physical and logical integration of new devices and systems into the existing customer environment.
• Plan and execute migration of services from legacy infrastructure to new
• Plan and document test cases to verify the function of the new systems
• System documentation for operational handover
• Attend project meetings

Do you have:

• Routing & switching – Juniper/ Cisco – BGP routing
• F5 LTM/GTM/ASM; Web proxies
• VMware
• Network tapping
• Firewalls – (Check Point, Cisco (ASA and FTD), Palo Alto)
• Experienced in design, build and implementation of secure gateway/network environments with multiple vendor platforms.
• Experience working in highly secure government environments
