About the Company

As a rapidly growing engineering consultancy, our client is specialized in building services consultancy sector in Melbourne.

Due to ongoing project work, an opportunity has arisen for a Electrical Engineer with a Building services background and ideally RBP Certification to project manage & provide technical input in design and project engineering work for a wide range or projects within the commercial, residential and retail sectors.

About The Role

Working within a close & dynamic team, key duties include the following:
  • Design & detailed electrical engineering within the areas of Low Voltage, power, lighting, security & communications using AutoCAD & Revit.
  • Detail preliminary scope of work documents, review electrical engineering documentation & electrical safety design.
  • Ensure all commercial details in relation to project scope, budget & timelines are addressed & projects are delivered on time & to budget.
  • Attend regular site meetings and coordinate all project documentation.
  • Liaise & engage with all internal & external key stakeholders of the project ensuring all project requirements are documented.
About You

The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
  • Registered Building Practitioner (RBP) essential.
  • Previous design & project management experience in electrical engineering within the building services sector.
  • Design experience in Low Voltage, lighting, power, security & communications.
  • Specific industry experience in residential, commercial, retail sector is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail with sound problem solving & negotiation skills.
  • Well developed interpersonal & communication skills.
