Boral have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Sales Team. The role is based in the Brisbane North region and is responsible for establishing new business and maximising sales opportunities with an existing customer base in the region.

Key duties:

  • Promote customer satisfaction and loyalty by identifying and satisfying customers’ needs through pro-active customer contact
  • Identify and implement growth strategies
  • Prepare proposals for major customers for the purpose of maintaining existing accounts and securing new business
  • Develop and implement sales and pricing strategies
  • Prepare and follow up Customer Proposals and Quotes
  • Manage contractual aspects of tenders and price submissions to ensure risk is mitigated and opportunities identified
  • Undertake market intelligence on customers, competitors and industry
  • Ensure that business activities are conducted within the Company's safety/compliance policies
  • Complete all administration duties as required including maintenance of the CRM system

Must haves:

  • A strong business acumen and previous experience of in business development, account management sales processes and proven sales results
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and negotiating skills
  • Ability to quickly analyse, assess and price/mitigate contractual risk
  • Ability to manage and develop customer relationships
  • Personal drive and results orientation, and
  • A current driver’s licence.
