Estimator required for a nationally recognised engineering company for immediate start in Townsville!

Your new company
Located in Townsville, your new company are specialists in engineering precast and pre-stressed concrete solutions offering a range of solutions for bridges and platforms, road and rail infrastructure, tunnels and shafts, retaining walls, pipeline systems, water treatment, reuse and detention, and traffic management.

Your new role
Reporting directly to the Estimator Manager, you will be responsible for managing and pricing accurate cost estimating on a variety of maintenance projects. This will include the production of accurate fixed price quotations, working a price from first principal, report on margin expectations and apply pricing variations.

Your day to day duties will include:

• Reviewing tender documents
• Producing estimates and quotations for customers
• Turn sales to production
• Work closely with the sales manager on customer meetings

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you must:

• Have prior estimating experience
• Have a high attention to detail
• Have a high regard for customer service
• Have excellent communication skills with both customers, clients and peers

What you'll get in return
