QA Engineer

Duration: 6 months

Location: Brisbane

Experience Required:

· Testing background required with a working knowledge of test methodology, traceability and related testing artefacts

· Experience working with product owners, business analysts & software engineers to identify, define, create and execute test cases

· Passionate about quality and advocating for continuous improvement to create high quality software

· Demonstrated experience with API testing, ideally in a banking or financial services environment (eg. Bank APIs, NPP, Open Banking, CDR)

· Ideally experience in reducing testing cycle times

Skillset Required:

· BDD Testing, test automation

· Demonstrated use of tools like Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, Java, Gherkin, Cucumber, JMeter, Postman/ SOAP UI API, Serenity RestAssured, DataBase, CICD Jenkins, Wiremock, GIT, Version Control Practices

· Experience working in an agile delivery methodology and use of JIRA for test & defect management

· Ability to articulate technical problems, issues and escalate risks as required

· Ability to deal with unknowns and contribute to developing better processes and practices

· Structured approach and attention to detail

· Excellent communication skills
