PLUMBER

Nortan – Air Conditioning & Heating – provides design, installation, air conditioner repair, emergency air conditioning repair and evaporative cooling repairs.

We are looking for an experienced Plumber to join the team.

Duties to be performed:

• Interpreting blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials
• Installing pipes and fixtures;
• Installing supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation
• Assembling fittings and valves for installation
• Modifying length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building
• Use saws and pipe cutters as necessary
• Installing heating and air-conditioning systems, including water heaters
• Collaborating with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing
• Testing plumbing systems for leaks and other problems
• Analysing problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair
• Choosing plumbing materials based on budget, location, and intended uses of building
• Follow health and safety standards and complies with building codes
• Write report documenting the problem and summary of actions taken
• Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts

The position is Full Time and the salary offered is between $50,000 and $70,000 depending on experience.
