B1 & B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Aerotech Aviation Pty Ltd (Aerotech), part of the APAS Group of Companies, was founded in 2010 to provide dedicated commercial aircraft storage and part-out services to the international aviation industry. Whilst these services have historically been provided in the United States, the APAS Group now services major Asia-Pacific based airlines and international aircraft lessor customers. Aerotech is extremely proud to be in the unique position, as an Australian aircraft maintenance organisation, to now hold EASA, FAA, CASA and BCAA Part 145 maintenance approvals for all major aircraft types.
Our successful candidates will join a tight-knit team focused on delivering excellence in maintenance standards and providing exceptional customer support. The increasing level of Next-Gen aircraft deliveries to the Asia-Pacific region provides exceptional organic growth opportunities for the business, and would see successful applicants elevated to senior positions as the business expands.
Job Description
Successful candidates will be involved with the oversight and maintaining narrow and wide body aircraft, registered throughout the world owned by major airlines and leasing entities.
Aircraft storage maintenance activities include:

aircraft induction, including engine / APU preservation

periodic maintenance checks

AD's, customer work requests, aircraft inspections

aircraft reactivation including powerplant de-preservation, gear retraction testing
-
component changes, engine runs, borescope oversight
Aerotech certifying engineers will also be involved in the running and oversight of parting-out of aircraft.
Candidates must have strong technical knowledge of their aircraft type, aptitude for trouble-shooting and defect rectification and an excellent ability to manage a team of staff under their direct supervision.
Candidate Requirements

EASA and/or CASA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 licence (with type ratings)

Type approvals sought: B737NG, B777, A320, A330, ATR72, A380, B787, A330

Ability to demonstrate recency with comprehensive work logbook

Strong IT capabilities given candidates will utilise the Aerotech maintenance platform

Ability to work in a team environment, including coordinating and managing allocated AME's

Experience with aircraft tow operations

Eligible to hold Australian ASIC, airport ADA, radio licence
-
Elevated work platform licence
Location
Successful candidates will be based at the APAS Facility, Alice Springs Airport, Alice Springs, Northern Territory.
Aerotech will work with suitably qualified international applicants to obtain Australian work visas.
