JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for completing construction, installation, and service-based contracts for SBL, to achieve the company’s contractual obligations. Whilst providing Electrical and Mechanical services for the construction and on-going maintenance of wind farms.
We are a highly reputable company with experienced personnel across all levels of the Organisation. We have construction, maintenance, and servicing projects in progress at various locations across Australia.
We are looking for fully qualified, enthusiastic, reliable Electricians to join our team across our current and upcoming projects across Sydney.

- You will be supported nationally by a Management Team in areas of expertise.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Your role will involve all electrical installation and completion works of wind turbines. The role incorporates various other duties including working with the cranes during installation.
Electrical Compliance for tasks not limited to:
- Performing insulation resistance, fault-loop impedance, polarity, and earth resistance testing
- Performing termination of generation cables in accordance with AS3000
- Correct cable and protection device selection in accordance with AS3008
- Reading, interpreting and fault find electrical circuits from client schematic drawings.
- Perform testing and tagging of tools and equipment and record them in the appropriate register Understand and carry out various fault-finding techniques.
Further training will be provided to candidates who display a high level of competency during the interview process.
Skills and experience
Essential
- Wind Turbine experience
- Working at heights/Heights Rescue
- Current CPR/First Aid
- General Construction Induction (White Card)
- Electrical License
Desirable
- Qualified Electrician
- GWO Training
- Telehandler/Forklift.
- EWP
- CN or Rigging
