Long-term contract role as an Integration Architect within a Defence company.

Your new company

You will join a well-established Defence company as an Integration Architect and will work along with highly professional IT Team.

Your new role

• Create the high-level design of integration solutions and guide implementation teams on the choice of components and patterns to use in the detailed design and implementation.
• Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring and other operational concerns of integration solutions.
• Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects.
• Document integration solution designs and oversee their development by the integration team.

• Experience in integration platform tools (such as MuleSoft, TIBCO, IBM, Oracle)
• Demonstrated ability to identify where emerging technologies or methods may add value to an organisation's business objectives;
• Experience with Master Data management concepts and implementations;
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (such as IBM - Infosphere Information Server, Oracle Data Integrator, Microsoft - SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS));

• Extensive experience in applying appropriate integration technology such as RESTFul APIs, Managed File Transfer, Web Services, API Gateway, and Messaging that meet the organisation and project needs;
• Extensive experience in leading the design and development of RESTFul APIs modelling that ensures the required level of abstraction, standards, considerations and security controls have been applied;
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, writing clear documentation and problem resolution:
  • System Development Lifecycle (SDLC);
  • Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Microservices Architecture and Business Process Modelling;
  • Analyse and translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications;
  • API gateway, JSON, JMS, ESB/SOA, SQL, JAVA, XML/XSLT/XSD, .NET and Web Services

To be eligible for this position, you will be required to be an Australian citizen with the ability to hold an Australian Defence and ITAR clearance. If you already hold a Defence clearance, this will be advantageous.
