  • Salary from $97,152.00 + superannuation + leave loading + flex leave

Public Works Advisory delivers significant infrastructure projects to support the NSW community. We apply our expertise in planning, design, delivery and maintenance of engineering, building, and environmental projects to assist our clients maximise value and manage risks associated with their assets.

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our team in the Queanbeyan Office. This is an opportunity for you to be part of multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of professional project management and advisory services for NSW. About you:

  • You are a Construction or Civil Engineering degree-qualified Project Manager (or equivalent with post graduate qualifications), with experience in delivering project and contract management on a range of civil engineering projects, including water and/or waste water treatment.
  • You have demonstrated expertise in utilising a collaborative approach to effectively lead teams of professional staff within a commercial environment;
  • You have knowledge of project management principles, and skills in project planning, review and reporting within a commercial environment, and experience in engagement and management of contract and consultant resources.
  • You enjoy working collaboratively with clients and multidisciplinary teams to meet business and client expectations in a commercial environment;
  • You have high-level communication and interpersonal skills, excellent personal presentation and are experienced in managing client and stakeholder relationships.
  • You have a high degree of computer literacy, with an understanding of project management systems and experience in the use of the Microsoft Office product suite;
  • You have a valid NSW Driver’s Licence and a willingness to drive to remote locations, which may include overnight stays.

Public Works Advisory (PWA) is part of the Department of Regional NSW (DRNSW), and supports local and state government agencies to deliver critical infrastructure initiatives by providing expert advisory, planning, design, delivery and support services. We bridge the gap between the government and the private sector, helping clients to maximise value, optimise costs and manage risks in their infrastructure programs and the lifecycle management of their assets. These services are built on a solid foundation of more than 160 years of effective delivery and management of critical infrastructure projects for the State of NSW.
