Are you a quality engineer with experience in financial services wanting to expand your business analysis skills? This is a great opportunity for a proven tester/quality engineer looking to grow their career within a fast paced, agile organisation.

Working in a highly collaborative small technology team you will contribute to the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of an in-house developed, excel based credit assessment tool (serviceability calculations, repayment algorithms, risk scorecards). You will support our team of credit analysts, ensuring a smooth client/employee experience as they rely on this tool to asses/originate loans within the Business Banking division of the wider Banking and Financial Services business.

In this role, you will be:

• acting as the voice of the customer to our engineers you will provide guidance on user behaviour/credit policy to help drive development
• working closely with business stakeholders, Product Owner and scrum team to ensure stories are refined and ready, with acceptance criteria complete
• defining test scenarios & execute end to end functional/regression testing ensuring a quality solution
• encouraged to question and think outside of acceptance criteria to identify exception scenarios, error states
• promoting continuous improvement and innovation in the agile team

You will bring the following skills and experience:

• previous experience in financial services is highly desirable (particularly lending and credit decisioning)
• strong analytical/numerical skills with a good understanding of excel, including knowledge of V-lookups and pivot tables (VBA knowledge beneficial to the role)
• a self-starter with a growth mindset and desire to learn
• a proactive attitude towards managing your own workload
• excellent communication and collaboration skills; enjoyment of working with colleagues from different teams
