JOB INFORMATION

JOB TITLE: MECHANICAL PROJECT ENGINEER

SWING: 20 8 FIFO FROM PERTH

START DATE: ASAP

LOCATION: SOUTH FLANK

INCLUDED: FLIGHTS ACCOMODATION/MEALS

DURATION: 12 MONTHS +

PAY RATE: $63.50 HOUR + PENALTIES + SITE ALLOWANCE + PIP

Key responsibilities will include:

• Interpret engineering drawings, documents, specifications and scopes.
• Prepare tender packages/ work packs.
• Manage interface with contractors and sub-contractors as required/ directed by site management.
• Provision of on-site construction support.
• Resolution of technical and design issues.
• Liaising with key stakeholders on all technical aspects of projects.
• Site progress reporting and KPI tracking as directed by the management team.

The following will be highly regarded:

• 5+ years' relevant industry experience (essential).
• Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience small/ medium projects.
• Experience in Mining industry.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Strong computer skills with high level competencies in the MS suite.
• Significant understanding and practice of Occupational Health and Safety.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC requirements
• An eye for detail and a collaborative attitude
