Power On Cabling is a fast growing company with great work culture. We specialise on Underground Power Cable, Comms, Gas and Water Installation.

We require a qualified Carpenter/Form-worker to work with our company on a full time basis. The Roles and Responsibilities include:

• Provide expertise in Civil Construction Carpentry and Form-work
• Carpentry, Shoring work inside open trenches
• Formwork to re-instate concrete footpaths kerbs and brick paving
• Set out concrete foundations, pour blinding, tie reo, form up foundations for concrete pour
• Work under own initiative
• Liaise with other trades on-site
• Collecting data from the DBYD underground plans
• To have completed an induction and be competent to perform work to the level required
• Have a clear understanding of what is required for each job
• Be able to communicate effectively with management and other team members
• Understand and implement Power On Cabling policies and procedures and safety standards
• Identify and action with HR your training needs
• Comply to company drug and alcohol testing and medical requirements
• Comply to all of the Western Power work practise manual requirements
• Give training and insight to offsiders and younger crew members
