Senior Signalling Design Engineer

You have an opportunity, as a Senior Signalling Engineer to join a major rail project based in Perth for a fixed term contract of 24 months.
Reporting to the Project Director on the project, you will provide Rail Signals expertise to the project providing a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, engineering process skills and excel in a positive team environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Review functional design documentation submitted by the contractor including system requirements and architecture, interface control, scheme plans, and analyses as appropriate
• Implement processes to manage signalling design documents, signalling design data
• Assist the RTP Engineering team with design workshop and risk assessments
• Develop and update standards or technical procedures
• Support the construction team with safety and quality during the construction phase

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• From 7+ years in Railway Signalling projects or operations.
• Tertiary qualifications (degree or Diploma) in a relevant discipline (Electrical/Electronic) or recognised industry experience
• Diploma or similar qualifications or extensive experience in Rail Signalling
• Experience in testing and commissioning of signalling systems
• Experience in delivering engineering activities for complex signalling systems as ETCS / CBTC projects preferably for a digital railway.
• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g. CENELEC, AREMA, RISSB) and company standard solutions
