Reliability Engineer – Starting Feb – Site based - FIFO
Our client is looking for a Reliability Engineer to facilitate mechanical maintenance and reliability related operations for one of Australia’s largest iron ore companies.
Our client is one of Australia’s most prevalent iron ore companies, so you will be supported by established teams of very experienced professionals, making maintenance, operation and improvement there as a Reliability Engineer effortless.
The candidate will have the opportunity to liaise with different stakeholders and departments as they will be reporting to the superintendent. This gives the candidate a great chance to build upon connections that can lead to further opportunities in the company or industry as a Reliability Engineer.
This stable role provides an excellent possibility to gain more experience in mining and iron ore that will greatly benefit any engineering career, particularly in Western Australia.
Focus of the role:
The role is focused on operations, management and improvement of assets in the processing plant.
Through an analysis of major events on critical equipment and input into effective and proactive maintenance strategies, you will execute operational and maintenance works with a commitment to safety.
You will be involved in defect elimination, continuous improvement projects, condition monitoring, risk management, life cycle asset management and other multidisciplinary activities as required.
Ideally, we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with:
- Degree qualification in Engineering
- 5 years fixed plant experience minimum
- 2 years on site experience
- Previous mining experience – Iron ore preferable
- Experience with SAP or similar maintenance management systems
- Understanding of project management and continuous improvement methodologies
- Operations, management and improvement experience in processing plants
