Randstad is proud to partner with a well established engineering company to recruit experienced Civil Designers.
About the company
Our client has been in operation for over 20 years and has continually grown from strength to strength.
With extensive experience in all fields of Engineering Consultancy, and as a leader in their field, our client specialises across Structural, Civil & Hydraulic disciplines.
Due to an increase in work demands and a number of projects that are due to start, we are now looking to source experienced Civil Designers to continue the success that has been achieved.
About the opportunity
As a Civil Designer, you will work alongside the Civil Engineers in the division to produce design, documentation and specification of earthworks, retaining walls, sewer and stormwater infrastructure and more.
This work will see you working a variety of projects that include private developments, commercial projects, as well as local government projects.
About you
This role is ideal for experienced Civil Designers who have demonstrated experience in a similar role and take pride in producing a consistently high standard of work.
You will have sound technical knowledge in subdivisions, earthworks, retaining walls, pavements and hydraulic systems.
To be considered for the role you must;
Hold a Diploma qualification or greater in Civil Engineering
Hold a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
Have experience in using AutoCAD Civil 3D and ideally will have experience in using AutoCAD 12D software
Have proven experience in leading teams to achieve expected outcomes
Have strong attention to detail and time management skills
