About Your Role

The Air Mobility Solutions (AMS) Business Line (BL) belongs to the Land & Air Systems Global Business Unit (LAS GBU). Its purpose is to empower sustainable mobility through airspace design and global solutions. AMS BL is a global leader in Air Traffic Management (ATM) and in the emerging Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM), as well as in the Digital Aviation market.

The AMS BL is organised around Central functions, Products organization, Customer Success organization, Business segments and three Regions (EMEA, APAC and Americas).

In this role you will be

  • Leading the ongoing Services solution processes, leading the development of services descriptions, developing cost estimates, creating service level designs, and providing innovative Service proposals to Thales AMS Customers.
  • Leading, mentoring and disseminating knowledge of best practices to meet the needs of the AMS Service Strategy, also establishing and articulating business requirements for new or adapting existing services offerings and solutions.
  • Ensuring Customer contract requirements are elicited and understood, developing technology & commercial strategies, and producing cost estimates to support the design and pricing of new Service offerings and solutions
  • Examining the current delivered Service solutions portfolio, and working with business and technical staff to recommend modern state of the art Services solutions that result in Service Business growth and commonality of offering, maximising Customer satisfaction and consequently profitable business.
  • Taking full responsibility for the design aspects of all stages of the Services lifecycle of support systems, including investigation, analysis, specification, design, development, construction, testing, maintenance, upgrade, transition, training, operation and enhancement

How About You?
  • Experience using relevant technologies and Service Design techniques to determine most appropriate delivery mechanism throughout the support and Service lifecycle including: Asset Management, Service Desks, Failure Reporting, Remote Diagnostics, Incident and Problem Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, developing and managing Service focused teams in a software intensive environment.
  • Experienced in services delivery associated with SaaS, IaaS, PaaS and finally MaaS concepts.
  • Working in a similar role in an ICT/Software Service provider organisation or similar, having worked on large service offerings, taking ownership of managed services design and basis of estimates in creating new Service products.
  • Negotiating and agreeing SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and other agreements that underpin the SLAs with the customers.
  • Experience in designing, costing and pricing Service offerings and translating it into profitable products for the company with a clear strategy
