JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client are a design and building residential renovations company with operations in Sydney, Australia. Our aim is to transform the level of customer service and the renovation experience that is provided to clients.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Licensed Builder / Construction Manager (could be part time initially, moving to full time) who is passionate about customer service, to join a new business in Sydney. You will be rewarded with excellent professional development opportunities, career progression and exposure to a diverse range of projects.
Reporting directly to the Business Owner your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the successful delivery of residential renovation projects on time and on budget
- Working closely with the Renovation Consultant to convert client enquiries into viable renovation projects
- Collaborating with designers and subcontractors to ensure quotes are competitive, complete and accurate
- Leveraging your local trades network to build a high performing team who are motivated to support projects
- Maintaining regular, high quality, communication with the client, sub-contractors and management
- A current NSW Builders Licence
- Proven experience managing a variety of residential renovation projects
- Current motor vehicle licence
- Good understanding of WHS regulations
- Strong trade background and associated qualification
- A well-established network of professional tradesmen
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Prior project management skills and experience are highly desirable
- Willingness to learn and use new technology
- Construction Project Management: 4 years (Preferred)
- construction: Minimum 8 years
- NSW Builder's License (Required)
