About the role
Our client has 2 x newly created permanent Foreman positions commencing right now;

• 1 x Site Foreman - Civil construction
• 1 x Site Foreman - Commercial construction 

As the Site Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion and successful delivery of major construction projects based in Gladstone, QLD. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will coordinate and liaise with associated departments to deliver the scope of works with a strong focus and commitment to safety, quality, schedule and cost.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Supervision of projects on site to ensure quality, on-time delivery within budget
• Plan and organise materials and resources required on time and within budget
• Manage the daily planning and decision making
• Facilitate the efficient construction of work with appropriate site management of all plant, equipment, materials, labour, and sub-contractors
• Liaise internally with all associated parties including the public to ensure positive working relationships 
• Carry out construction works using safe work practices and instilling this into all related parties
• General daily, weekly, monthly task reporting including project establishment tasks data manipulation and registry 

Skills/Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Foreman within the construction, civil, industrial field
• Prior experience being involved in large scale commercial projects
• Proven ability to supervisor, manage, and delegate accordingly
• High knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards / Awards / Regulations / Legislations particularly in the construction industry and Workplace Health & Safety 
• Excellent understanding of safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures, regulations and legislation
• Developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident user of MS suite - Excel, Word, Outlook & Projects
• Australian Drivers Licence
• Australian Construction card
