This national civil construction company is working on a $150M project in Rockhampton.

They are expanding their FIFO team and require an experienced Project Engineer or Estimator.

Working closely with the construction manager, you will be responsible for:

• Measuring reinforcing and concrete
• Working FIFO from Brisbane for the next 15 months on a 10:4 roster with a view to permanency
• Measure quantities, measure pour, track cement, maintain the budget.
• Manage the tender process for a range of projects, from initial briefing to submission
• Develop the tender strategy & manage the financial submission
• Negotiate with tenders and sourcing tender submissions
• Arranging quotations and pricing for subcontractors
• Prepare take-offs and tender estimates
• Site inspections and quality assurance
• Contract administration
• Analyze risk and opportunities and ensure accurate costing through benchmarking
• Review and analyze subcontractor bids Project scheduling and programming

Experienced Estimator / QA/QC with experience measuring concrete and steel reinforcing on civil projects up to $200M

• Degree qualified in construction management or engineering
