About You

We are looking for a roofer who is well presented, is respectful and polite to our customers, has excellent problem solving skills, has an eye for quality and detail, is punctual, has a can do attitude, is enthusiastic to learn new skills, shows initiative, is ethical and works with safety as a priority. Also you must work effectively in a team or autonomously

Applicants must also have

• At least 5 years experience in the roofing industry which could include roof tiling / roof plumbing / roof carpentry or similar roof maintenance labouring.
• Reliable vehicle, valid drivers licence.
• Valid white card.
• Valid working at heights certificate.
• References.

Suitable applicants will also be required to meet the below clearances:

-Police clearance.

-Medical clearance.

Responsibilities

General roof repairs and maintenance, tiling, valley replacements, custom flashing work, pressure cleaning, ridge cap bedding/pointing, leak solving and repairs, roof carpentry, gutter cleaning, gutter replacement and general roof plumbing, metal sheeting, following company policies and OH& S procedures

Working hours are work-load and weather dependant, but usually between the hours of 7am to 5pm Monday - Friday. The position is currently casual on an hourly rate, plus super. If the candidate meets KPI's there is opportunity for the position to become permanent full time. Sub- contract work is also available for skilled and experienced contractors with an ABN and their own insurances.
