Project Engineer | Junior Role | Fabrication & Engineering| Perth

Our client

Working for an established Australian manufacturing and heavy engineering company based south of Perth metro.


Ideally, you are a junior level engineer seeking an environment where you can grow, whilst supporting an existing team of respected engineers and managers.
Your technical skills are proven and you are looking for more experience on live projects in the workforce. You will need to be able to meet the day to day technical engineering queries, client liaison, and project inventory, but would not be above you doing the admin tasks either - All hands on deck.
The initial focus is a 160t module assembly for a mine site, then you’ll assimilate into other projects within the business as required.
Starting on a temp contract with a view to switching to perm further down the track.
Summary of key requirements are:

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Able to maintain and compile QA documentation including ITP’s and MDR’s
  • able to manage document control and customer submissions
  • Able to administer contract document deliverables such as drawings and reports
  • Manage and administer customer correspondence in 'Aconex' platform.
  • Able to update project inventory and PO’s
  • Able to support with project reporting and schedules.
  • Carry out general office project tasks to support the PM and Project Engineer
  • Have good communication skills and the ability to work in a small team environment.

  • Will be flexible and open to change; able to work within a small team and make things work;
  • Are available within 1-2 weeks;
  • Will be offered an attractive hourly rate, dependent upon your suitability and experience.
  • Must be currently based in Perth, Western Australia – no relocation offered at this stage.
