About the Role
Looking for a Principal Rail Designer to join a team heavily involved in the design of new rail and brownfields upgrades and track rehabilitation alignment according to rail geometric design codes.
Your role will see you fluently using 12d and the supervision of drafters producing finished drawings on Microstation and / or Autocad.

Your role will see you fluently using 12d and the supervision of drafters producing finished drawings on Microstation and / or Autocad.
Key Criteria
Your role as Principal Civil Designer - Rail, will require the following:
- Fluency using 12D software is essential to this role
- Extensive background in designing Rail and / or Roads.
- Familiarity with rail alignment and design standards, including that for turnouts, crossovers, sidings and yards.
- Ability to use 12D Model Software and AutoCad and/or Bentley Microstation drafting/design packages.
- Have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a busy design environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively supervise more junior team members
- Hourly rate $80 - $100/hour including super.
- 6 month contract
