JOB DESCRIPTION

Construction Engineer required for a 6 month local government contract

Your new role
 You will be reporting to the Coordinator of Engineering and will be accountable for the Project Management, Planning and delivery of City's foot path and road works program utilising contracted resources and/or in house staff. Additional duties would include:

  • Estimates for project construction costs
  • Ensuring safe working environment
  • Manage and facilitate procurement processes including public tenders
  • Prepare technical specifications for project activities and works


What you'll need to succeed

  • Diploma Civil Engineering (minimum)
  • Project and Contract management experience in storm water drainage, roads, resurfacing
  • Experience in construction of drainage and civil road engineering projects
