About Toll People

Toll Group have an exciting new role available on a 2/1 fulltime roster based locally at our Kewdale site. This role requires a reliable Auto Electrician with excellent diagnostic skills and heavy-duty road transport equipment. 
Pay rate of $49.99ph, superannuation paid at 12.5%. 
The roster consists of 7 days on, 7 nights on and 7 days off. Start times 0600 until 1800 days & 1800 until 0600 on nights, FIFO roster with no flying. 
Qualifications Required: 

• Appropriate trade qualification - Cert 3 Auto Electrician 
• Minimum three years' post trade experience 
• DGSC 
• Minimum C Class Licence 
• ARC Licence 

To be successful in this role you will have:  

• Ability to diagnose faults safely, competently and efficiently in a timely manner 
• Strong technical knowledge of company owned fleet assets 
• Strong understanding of statutory requirements (including but not limited to: DPI, MRD, and Worksafe & DMP) 
• Adherence to HSE policies, practices, and procedures 
• Maintain and repair Toll assets to Toll, OEM, industry and statutory requirements and standards 
• Competent use of testing equipment, hand tools and workshop equipment 
• Ability to develop knowledge from online, workplace, OEM and trades manuals 
• Experience in heavy transport industry 
• Undertake minor welding and/or fabrication tasks as directed 
• Undertake electrical repairs as directed 
• An understanding of statutory requirements of DG road transport requirements
