  • Annual Salary Range: VPS4 - $87,640 - $99,438 + super
  • Tenure: Ongoing
  • Employment Type: Full Time (flexibility may be available)

About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to work with an experienced team of engineers, where you will have responsibility for the delivery of outstanding solutions within the Department of Transport

This role will provide preconstruction and delivery of maintenance and construction of structures to assist with the preparation of high-quality project proposals in accordance with corporate guidelines.

This role will be responsible to work in accordance with project scope, engage in project and risk management to coordinate the planning, work scheduling and resource management matters relating to structure projects within the team.

The ideal candidate will be a degree qualified Civil / Structural Engineer, with the following experience and knowledge:

  • Minimum 5 year' experience of hands on engineering design and analysis
  • Experience in project management including planning, scheduling, co-ordination of resources and reporting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of pre-construction, construction and contract administration of structures related to maintenance and construction projects, including an understanding of quality management principles.
  • Extensive experience in assisting with project co-ordination, planning, work scheduling and resource management related to development and delivery of projects related to the construction/ management of Structures
  • Excellent stakeholder management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills to work with external contractors
