Bowral Hospital is recruiting for a Hospital Assistant Grade 3 to complement and enhance the current Maintenance Department.

What you'll be doing

The role of the Handyman is to provide a professional and effective service to all internal and external clients of the Health Service.
This includes identify the needs of all stakeholders and where possible adapt services to meet those needs in a safe, collaborative and timely way.
Technically, the Handyman is responsible for delivering maintenance throughout the Health Service

How to Apply

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Hospital experience or similar.
  2. Maintenance of Building experience.
  3. Maintenance experience building or maintenance procedures.
  4. Written and verbal skills.
  5. Previous Facility experience.
  6. Communicate effectively across the organisation as required.
  7. Demonstrated Handyman experience.
  8. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and independently initiate and prioritise actions to complete complex tasks.
