Senior Software Engineer - C++ Embedded Linux

My client is a global company delivering leading edge home entertainment solutions.

They're currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer with proven commercial experience using C++ (C++ 11, C++ 14)  in an Embedded Linux environment - you don't need to know Embedded Linux down to the kernel level however you should be familiar developing middleware on an embedded Linux platform using Posix API's etc coupled with solid debugging experience using Valgrind or similar tools.

You will be joining a small team who work in an Agile environment so due to the size of this team you should possess really strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with excellent communication skills.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on full lifecycle product development in a highly supportive team environment, 

In addition to strong C++ and Embedded Linux any exposure to the following would be highly advantageous:

• Audio Codecs
• Experience with networking (ie sockets, multicast/unicast/TCP/UDP)
• Multi-threading
• Cross compiler experience
