Training Consultant Carpentry or Cabinet Making

Are you a self-motivated Building & Construction industry professional with a passion to pass on your skills and knowledge to the next generation of building professionals?

The Tasmanian Building Group Apprenticeship Scheme has worked within the Building and Construction Industry for 37 years and is seeking to employ an additional industry professional as our Training Consultant to deliver and assess industry training in the Qualifications of Carpentry or Cabinet Making

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly motivated to train and develop apprentices, working alongside them and their supervisor on site to achieve their relevant qualification.

The successful applicant must provide evidence of the following qualifications as a pre-requisite.

* Either a Trade Cert III in Carpentry, Carpentry/Joinery or Cabinet Making Additional key selection criteria: TAE 40110 qualification or TAE 40116 preferable but not essential.
* Demonstrated ability to successfully work in teams. Well developed and demonstrated skills in organisation, planning, negotiation and conflict resolution.
* Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
* Drivers Licence and White Card
