Job Description
The Role
Reporting into the VIC Technology Manager and based in Melbourne, the Applications Engineer will be responsible for Engineering & Commissioning Building Integration Solutions and BMS systems. The successful candidate will be highly skilled and certified using Tridium’s Niagara Framework. They will also have exceptional interpersonal skills as well as an understanding of the challenges of working in a dynamic and fast growing business.
The Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Engineering of Building Integration Systems within Tridium’s Niagara Framework
- Commissioning of the Engineered systems
- Communication with Clients and Contractors
- Ability to work proactively within teams (internal & external)
- Engineering & Commissioning of BMS systems
- Project documentation
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Exceptional industry technology knowledge (Tridium, industry protocols, latest industry developments)
- Tridium certification (TCP at minimum)
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good IT networking skills
- Good management skills – Personal & Project
- Willing to travel interstate
