Our client is looking for a Process Chemical Engineer to join their Manufacturing team. You will be doing Plant maintenance and production, and continuously develop and design it, end to end. This role requires someone who can truly work cross-functional, with working knowledge in reagent production and ideally with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Your new job:

Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, you will be responsible for the following responsibilities:

  • Plant maintenance (safeguarding and ensuring all plant tools are in running condition)
  • Plant production- work based on instruction and processes.
  • Plant designing and documentation.
  • Production of reagents and other products.
  • Have problem-solving attitude, able to perform structured root cause analysis, decide on the best course of action by a hands-on approach or by providing guidance to the internal team.
  • Apply best practices such as plant design reviews, risk analysis, critical thinking to identify strength and weaknesses of solutions and proper documentation.
  • Work in a cross-functional environment.

What you will need to succeed:

We are looking for a candidate who is experienced with Plant maintenance and production, who can take a hands-on approach but also guide others to achieve the desired outcome.

  • Chemical Engineering degree or relevant.
  • 2-5 years of Industrial experience
  • Experience in start-up preferred but not required.
  • A working knowledge of chemistry, reagent production, and chemical process methodology and requirements-based documentation practices and
  • Well-developed first principles chemical process engineering methodology to plant and process design, documentation, and issue resolution activity.
