To support the operation of our substantial assets, we are seeking talented staff to join our Phase 2 team.

We are seeking a Senior Operations Engineer for the INPEX Operations Division in sustained operations. This is a Perth based position working closely with and reporting to the Phase 2 Senior Operations Representative.

In this role you will support the design, build, test, installation, commissioning and handover of the Phase 2a system deliverables making sure this not only meets the operational requirements but minimise the impact on production in a safe manner, while also providing support to ensure operations requirements including SIMOPS, risk assessment, operability and permit to work are incorporated into the Phase 2a define and execution activities.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Provide operational engineering input into the execution of the Phase 2a system and equipment design to ensure all operational interface aspects of the Phase 2a subsea expansion and CPF tie in works are aligned with Operations requirements and expectations.
• As required, support/attend necessary Phase 2 design & safety reviews, HAZOP, HAZIDs, Risk Assessments, workshops etc.
• Review and comment on Phase 2a deliverables and ensure dissemination of information and incorporation of comments into the wider Operations organisation as required. Ensure Operations and maintenance lessons learnt are incorporated in the Phase 2a deliverables.
• Support in the development and management of the Verification of Readiness (VoR) process to ensure successful and timely handover and start-up of Phase 2 assets.
• Support the Phase 2 Operations interface Lead in the definition and management of the Phase 2 interfaces in particular topsides interfaces with the CPF facility.
• Provide operational engineering support and representation during manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, testing, EFAT/SIT, installation, and commissioning of the Phase 2a equipment and Phase 2a brownfields CPF integration work.
• As required support the Phase 2b Booster compression module FEED and subsequent execution to ensure operations requirements in the design are achieved and impact to existing infrastructure & ongoing production is minimized.
• As part of the Phase 2 Operations team support in the engagement of the various key stakeholders in the operations organisation including, but not limited, to flow assurance, production engineering, subsea engineering, logistics, offshore operations etc.
• Support the Phase 2 Operations team in providing input to the Phase 2 project team to ensure all operational interface aspects of the subsea expansion program and CPF tie in works are aligned with Operations requirements and expectations.

Key qualifications, skills and experience required:

• Tertiary engineering degree
• Oil and gas operations background, with extensive experience in an engineering discipline in an offshore / upstream projects preferred.
• Experienced in upstream facilities design, installation, commissioning or operations.
• A good understanding of brownfield modifications, tie-ins and/or shut-down planning.
• Strong communicator and team player.
