JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Description

This employer is looking to take on a second apprentice. With over 10 years experience in Tiling of all aspects, including stone, mosaics, porcelain and waterproofing, in this apprenticeship you will be involved in the preparation and laying of tiles on wall and floors, with duties including:

- Creating decorative enhancements such as tile mosaics
- Cutting tiles to fit measurements
- Ensuring tiles are cleanly and neatly laid out and making adjustments as needed
- Making measurements for tiling
- Preparing and examining plans to ensure a smooth and well-executed job
- Spreading grout onto surfaces as needed
- Working with concrete and other adhesives to affix tiles to surfaces

To be successful in this role you must be physically fit, willing to put in a hard days work and have a can do attitude
You will also require a car and licence as travel is involved.
