An opportunity exists for a suitably experienced Building Support Coordinator to join the Fairmont construction team.

Reporting to the Construction Administration Manager, you will be responsible for performing administration and customer service tasks for post construction service and warranty matters.

This includes management of construction documentation for each open file, responding to all forms of customer enquiry as required, issuing of written customer updates where necessary, and providing direct customer management support to the Building Quality Manager to close out outstanding matters.

Key duties include:

• Act as the point of contact of all incoming service and warranty enquires.
• Provide a high standard of customer support to answer queries and concerns as they arise.
• Liaise with external stakeholders to keep up to date on progress, communicate issues and ensure milestones are achieved to resolve matters.
• Manage day to day customer interactions issues to achieve positive outcomes
• Coordinate on site requirements and issue resolution with the Building Quality Administrator, suppliers, trades, and customers.
• Update and maintain accurate documentation for each job file
• Respond in a timely manner to issues that may arise on site.

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a customer service/administrative position, preferably in the building and construction industry
• Understanding of the building and construction industry and building processes
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Intermediate level of skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and email)
• Working knowledge of a building and construction workflow management system
• Working knowledge of Tech One is desirable
• Is customer service oriented
• Ability to work productively within a team environment
